T3 TSS Thoughts

Great sub.. I had a 12" and it sounded great. I was running a vfl 150.1 to it. I dont think that it will last too long with a sundown 3000 per sub.. Maybe running two off of one amp... The got pretty loud to and I dunno if my box was even close to what they recommend

My 12" TSSs were perfectly fine with 2K per sub for daily. Once I got over 3K per sub I had to back it down a little but I use the extra power for burps.

Low is an understatement. I can play 20 hz at near full volume and it feels nice.

I am able to do 150 dB at 32 hz, 33 hz, 37 hz, 39 hz, 42 hz, 46 hz, and 47 hz. With my peak of 151.4 dB at 46 hz.

This is all with 3 subs. I am currently rebuilding for 4 subs.

the 2008's are out already. not the tsns but the tss
the tsns are out.. eddie from team t&e has 4 15s..

jd built my tss with better coils and handles a earthquake phd5000(about 3k watts) all day... great sound and hard hitting. i'm doing mid 140s in a trunk of a full size car..

If you want your sub for daily use just get the regular one(it has the white T3 logo, but if you want a SPL sub, get the modified one(black logo)... you'll have to order the modified one direct from JD cause he only makes them to order for competitors..

I really did want to go through T3 with my next install, but the owner refused to sell to me because I have a local shop that sells his stuff.

J/c has anyone else paid $489+ tax for a T3 TSS 12"? That's what the local shop wanted so I just want to verify how bad I'm getting it stuck in me through dealer markups :/

another reason that that T3 audio customer service sucks. Its too bad that a dick makes some good subs.

Most companies wont sell direct if they have a distributor in your area. Thats why they sign distributors. It would be bad for business if he went around his distributors.

I work for CeeLite and anytime someone calls wanting product that is located in a distributors territory, we direct them to order from the distributor. Its in the contract we had signed with them.

If somebody wants to order that is a non allocated territory, we sell to them direct but at the same prices the distributor sells for.

BTW, when I say distributor, I mean retailer, or reseller also.
