T3 subs?

i'm looking to build a sql system with some serious balls. i had one of scott buwalda's installers mention these subs to me. their local from georgia. anyody have any experience with these subs. i'm looking for some serious out-put but i want it to sound clean. i listen to mainly metal

for what its worth i killed a local "competitors" setup who runs T3 with a Fi SSD. 3 db louder, in a box i threw together in a few hours. and the SSD sounds pretty darn good too.

T3 makes monsters. I dont know about sql with them though. Huge power handling but like i said dotn know tooo much of their line to say yes.

you can achieve both goals in the same system. get in one of buwalda's cars. the sound at low levels will make you bust a nutt on yourself but he can crank the fvck out of it too.

The problem I have with "SQL" is that it sounds like SQ can't be loud, which is completely false. i'm with you all the way. that's why i hated car audio school soo bad. all they wanted was straight bass. didn't even know what a component was. i told them i'd rather spend $10,000 on the front stage and dump the couch over looking 4 change for the subs. they didn't get it....

dual legadia 8"s in the doors with cd neo comp mini horns. 4 10's sealed.

maybe 4 legadia 6"s in the doors.

No real need for multiple midbasses, only makes it that much more difficult to tune. One pair, either in the kicks or doors, is enough.

because he is at every show and is sponsored by the local shop. he competes quite often, and has access to a TL, so i assume he put a lot of effort into his build and can do a lot of testing with his setup.

it is very possible he is an idiot and doesnt know what he is doing. i was justing stating my only experience with T3 subs.
