T3 audio vs tc sounds

Looking to build a 4 15" setup with either tc3000's or t3 2000's, with 14 cu ft tuned at 30 hz and 8000 watts. I'm looking to pound the lows, so I was thinking tc, but the motor force on the t3 subs is also tempting.

I've never heard a t3 so I was just curious what people had to say about them.

T3 stuff is very promising... Go with 2 TSNS 18's!

I've had a decent amount of experience with T3 woofers. Highly reccomended. I've had 8 of the 400 series 10's in a 97 GMC Sierra tuned to 30 hz that did 44's legal on the dash playing music. No testing. I've also installed a t2000 in a 4 door Dodge at 42 hz and it moves a decent amount of air. Very impressive woofers. Love them.

Ya they look incredible. I'm a huge fan of TC's low distortion high xmax woofers though, and the T3's look as if they are more suited for higher frequencies than the TC's, but i know looks can be deceiving.

I was gonna do 2 either tsns or lms ultra 18', but 15's always model better it seemed like due to cone area.

both great sub choices, i like the t2000's, they pound the lows ive only heard 2 12"s tho. My 1 15" TSNS loves the lows also. kills my eclipse got a couple vids on my youtube u can see it

Both great companies that make great subs. I personally favor TC Sounds though. The low end on their subs is absolutely monstrous and the sound quality is amazing. I would do 12 cubes tuned to 30 hz with 4 6" aeros for the 4 TC-3000 15's I had one on 1.5k in a 3 cubic ft box tuned to 30 hz and it did a 143.2 at 37 hz they like small boxes.

I have the dual 2 ohm version though, so less motor force than the original qvc, so probably needs a little bigger box I figure

tc tends to be geared for sql and a flatter bl curve so it stays clean threw out but if u are looking for numbers go with the t3

No numbers for me, every good number I've heard in a car sounds like crap daily. Before this gets heated I'm sure there are many exceptions to that.

Nahh thats mostly true... takes alot of cone and power to get good numbers and be tuned for music..

Did you try it in a bigger box? BL on the dvc was 22.x vs 27.x for the qvc, so I would think it needs a little more. I have the space so I might as well use it, but am interested on what you experimented with
