System woes.

Whats goin on folks. I have about a 5 month old system in my S-10. It consists of 2 t1001DB rockford monoblocks, 1 600x4 rockford for the mids. The speakers they're linked to are 6 JL evolutions, 2 Clarion tweets in Qforms, and 2 T212D2 rockford 12's in a custom built ported box. Now heres the fun part. I live in Phx arizona, land of hotness and sweat. Due to space constraints the amps and orbital purple haze batteries had to be mounted under my taneau against the cabs bedwall. Its 117 outside in far south phx at the moment. My amps MIGHT run for 2 minutes during the day. I just might luck out and get 45 minutes at night. I was thinking my dual exhaust setup might be a little to close to the underside of the bed so i got some industrial heat wrap (more like comforter) that was used on massive natural gas turbine engines. The wrap was used on the exhaust pipe which generates heat in excess of 1700 degrees. I slid my bigass under the truck lastnight and saw, to my amazment, that a majority of the piping is at least 1' away from the bed floor. Needless to say i doubted the wrap would do a ****ed thing. For those that dont know the t10001DBs come with a 3 speed fan that moves quite a bit of air, but in my situation i might as well set some blowdriers on sweltering heat and high to get the same effect. The drivers side amp seems to weather the heat a little better then the passenger side (where the pipe is run).

If anyone knows of any cheapish and effective way to reduce the heat i would greatly appriciate it. I was just out there and the amps, after 3 hours of the truck being off are still ultra hot to the touch. Here are some pics of the setup.

Yeah, i know. The bed needs carpeting. And i need money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

This audio shinanagain is all controlled by an Eclipse CD5000 head unit with 8v preout, run through a clarion preamp.

Move to California, the weather's juuuuuuust right. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

The girls are smokin too. If you like the high maintenance type, that is.

About 4-6 little 80-120MM computer fans will work great for you, 2-3 for exhaust and 2-3 for intake. If there's a plexiglass cover on the amps? May be, but it could just be glare from the amp?

Theres plexi over the t600 but the t10001s are exposed. The fans, being 3 speed, dont really seem to pull much air into the amp skins. They sound loud as hell but there isnt much suction out of the ports.

Kinda bums me out, i just got one of the subs back today after the cones seperated and i still only have 1 sub due to the heat overheating the passenger side amp.. I was thinking of getting a repro WRX hood scoop (just the scoop) and porting the bed, then using the 2 scoops to create an intake/vent. If i used a few layers of fine screen it should keep down the debris to a minimum. I just dont wanna go that route as i do have bags planned for the dime.
