* Front door before deadening

* Front door after deadening. Edead V1SE(2) mat used for inner and outer door sheet metal. Outer sheet metal has 2 layers on all, and 4 layers directly behind the speaker with Edead V4 Teklite on top to absord midrange reflecction. Edead V4 used again to prevent the metal rods from rattling.

* Rear area with interior removed

* Edead V3 liquid deadener applied, Edead V1SE(2) mat deadening will be applied on top of this. I bought the V3 with no real planned use for it so I'm slopping it on the floor of the Civic just to use it for something //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

* Starting to deaden inside side cavity, these cavities will be filled with expanding foam after the outter sheet metal has been fully deadened. Peel & Seal is being used for the outter skin deadening.

* Rear hatch door deadening started

The roof will be deadened using Second Skin Damplifier. I'm ordering that in the next few days. It's my favorite overall deadener but a little too expensive for me to do my whole car with.

Thats it so far... I have alot more work to do so pics will be added as I move along. This will be the demo vehicle for Sundown Audio when it's ready. I intend to supercharge it so I can actually drive regular speed with the extra weight from deadening and the upcoming system =)

* Possibly a third battery, some sort of deep cycle

Knukoncepts 1/0 wiring from front battery to rear

4 gauge or 1/0 under-hood grounds / alt / starter wiring

Tara Labs Speaker Wire and RCA Cables

It's got a LONG way to go... the only "system" in the car right now is the JVC Head Unit and some Audax 5.25" Coaxials to make some sound so I can actually drive and not go insane //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I already have most of the equipment, it's just a matter of installation at this point.

I'm a big fan of deadening. Wait until you see the craziness when I fill in those side cavities with expanding foam //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I still have to do the other door as well... I'm kind of attacking it at all angles at once so if I get bored of deadening something I can do another part to keep myself sane.

I don't believe any of them are deep cycle. I've got two "regular" batteries and may or may not add a deep cycle to the mix depending on how it works out for me.

For that matter I think that Edead V3 is more like Sludge. It's incredibly thick stuff. Either way, it doesn't matter... I'm putting mat on top of it so sufficient deadening will be there.
