Been listening to this system for probably 6 months and I must say I couldn't be happier. Besides the rattles, (which are now 'eDEAD') it's by far the cleanest/clearest and loudest system I've had a chance to listen to. BTW: the polyfill I put in today sure helped to mellow out the bass, a lot smoother and deeper it seems like.

Why did you choose to go with a 2.3 cu ft box? Does it sound better than a smaller box, do you know? I love the way your box looks.

I chose 2.3 cu ft. sealed because the mag displaces around .3 cu ft. so I have almost exactly 2 cu ft. which is what SI recomends for sealed enclosures for the 15''. And as far as I can tell it sounds wonderful, if I could start over though I would go for about 3.3 cu ft. sealed.

And yea I'm gonna port it in the summer, for now it's plenty loud though.

I purchased both of my amps (the srx 4 to power my utopias at 170 x 2 @ 4 ohms and the srx S2 to power my mag at 600 x 1 @ 4 ohms) from an authorized dealer in Phoenix. You could also go to http://www.audison.com to check there stuff out.
Oh the mag.......what else is there to say that hasn't already been said. Plenty loud with such minimal watts (in comparison to what it can take), unbelievably clear, sq is amazing etc etc. Yes sealed to 2.3 cu ft.

Do you guys think a 1000 watt amp compared to my 600 watt amp would increase much output? I might ask Santa for a bigger amp but I'm not sure that I'll gain much output.

I never in my life heard of audison. It makes me think of the Audi car company everytime i see the name lol. Hows the amp sound. Is it tru rms power or close to it? And how much did urs cost?

audison is right up there with arc and helix and amps like that. its italian made as for the actuals i wanna hear slip's take on them. i have onlt heard them i havent installed them or toyed with them. they have a 4 channel id love to have but i dont have a dealer remotely close so i bought a soundstream instead.

It's definitely tru rms power, although neither of the amps came with a birthsheet, you can tell both amps are underrated that's for sure. Also, neither of them get even remotely hot, the closest thing I've ever felt was after I had been driving for a couple hours straight with some pretty heavy bass music the sub amp was slightly warm...that's about it. Everything about these amps are solid, extremely well made with all the features needed on a high quality amp. As far as cost I believe it was right around $600ish for the pair. Pretty good price as far as I'm concerned considering I got the warranty as well.

sounds good and thats their enty level line lol sweet every site that used to carry them seems to have gotten the boot i wonder how much the srx 3 is?
