ok..so here is the deal. I plan on buying my system this week, and installing it over the course of next weekend(fri-mon). I will be tearing out my interior and doing all the fun sound deadening and what not starting friday night and well into sunday afternoon. at which point the actual install will take place. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif either way, i need some advice as to which components to purchase...so here we go:

HU-JVC EXAD KD-SHX-900 or Pioneer DEH-P680MP

Fronts-Rainbow SLC 265 or Polk Audio db6500

Amp-Diamond Audio D3 400.4 I'm pretty set on this amp, as I think it can power my fronts just fine and my rears should be ok since they won't require much drive

Fillers-Eclipse 8062 Component Woofers I originally had the full component set, but someone decided to steal the crossover/tweeters and leave me with just the mid range's. I figure this will make a decent filler until I get a nice sub in the back. I am however possibly thinking about trying to pick this set up on ebay and use the full set in the back. Any opinions on that?

Well the last thing is the box/amp and that is somewhat of a headache. I want to get a custom enclosure built b4 I actually get the sub, however I need to pick out a decent Sub so that I can get the specs right. What I want to do is have a sealed box that sits in the Sparetire well. I will be using a flat piece of MDF to go across the whole trunk, and then build the box accordingly. I've heard good things about Assassin subs, as well as various other brands. What I want is something that is tight sounding, kinda deep(Low pass will be set to 100 or below, most likely at 80). I do not care to share my system with the world, just possibly the car next to me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif So any advice on a Sub/Amp combo would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx for your help CA. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

OK, Id by the pioneer deck over JVC becuase the pioneer isa better built deck from my experience (I see to many defective JVC). I have never been a fan of polk speakers so I would look at the Rainbow. I generally dont use rear speaekrs because it competly throws off your soundstage. With that said, if you just want to use a mid woofer back there to fill in thats fine, but if you go to a full range coax or a full component set it should be the same series as your front speakers so they are timbre matched. Other wise you might get some strange results in the high end.
