4 12 w7s vs. 4 12 atomic apx. DBDrag

I know this this is the farthest thing from a comparison thread, but if i end up getting the 96 talon ive been looking at i'd like to know some opinions on these two choices as far as a daily/spl / street C setup.. Ive seen many DB Drags and i dont expect to many people to be on my side when i say that i think 4 12 w7s would hold there own in street C.. FAR from winning anything at the big shows but mid 50???? id love to try it but the bad thing is the talons have at max 6-7^t (below the window)and im not sure 6^ would be enough.. Or i could buy the apx's and try to go at it but then i'd know for a fact

1) not nearly enough room cosidering a 12apx needs 3 minimum per sub

2)id need double the power with only a single bat.

forgot to mention.. they would both be about the same price..

only dif.. is the atomics would run off 2 40.1's and the w7s would run off 1 40.1 or 4 1000/1s

no i didnt order already and yes those are the only 2 subs im considering .. Why? Because noone s done anything with w7 s and noone up here has atomics

Well you might want to get on ordering that amp then. There is a pre-order going on, and if you miss it you might not get that amp. There is going to be a limited number of them. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

it really sux for me cuz any show i go to is pretty much owned by the sound mekanix team in any street class

Question for you.. is the 40.1 enough even for daily? From what i hear they need at least 3k daily to even move

Well you might want to get on ordering that amp then. There is a pre-order going on, and if you miss it you might not get that amp. There is going to be a limited number of them. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
