System for u$1000 (without HU)

I am travelling to Miami (from Argentina) on friday and I want to buy there the components from my system.

What components can you recommend me?

The HU will be a double din, i don't know wich one yet.

I have u$1000 (shipping included) to spend in the rest of the system (speakers, amp and sub)

what should i buy?

the music i listen is: hip hop and dance the most of the time, but i listen other kind of music too.

i want a system with good quality of sound but that can be heard at high levels of volume too

Are you looking for adequite bass or are you looking to impress?

For componets I would look into a Company like Rainbow, Caidence, or CDT.

Since you listen to dance music I would reccomend buying a line that will have adequite output to keep up with your bass.

For the sub, if you are just looking for adequite bass, I would look into a good 12" ported.

And I would stay away from DD. Good for Hip Hop/ Street Beating. Dance and otherwise (quick beats and deep deep stuff) DD lacks as they are strictly an SPL oriented company.

have you personally heard a 3512? He said he listens to those mostly, and DD3512 sound great musically

That I agree with.

However YES I have heard a DD3512, as a matter of fact my friend used a pair, both in daily and in SPL and I didt a lot in helping with both installs.

Not bad but nowhere near the SQ of many other subs that I'v heard. COmparable in SQ to an SX 12.
