one of my friends is gettin a system for christmas... his only concern is that he wants to be louder than my 2 L7's were ...

he already went thru the fi website and is set on a 15" BTL with hixmax, cooling, and 3rd magnet... and i suggested either a sundown 1500 from audiojunkies for 600 or a orion wcc 5000 off ebay (its only like 500 for 2350 watts) ...

the only thing is there is no box recommendations on fi's website so i was thinkin the 5.2 @ 32 hz in the box section ... how do you think this would sound? i've never actually heard Fi so i dont know what we should be expecting... i just want to make sure this is a good pair up before i tell him to drop $1000 and him not liking it, and i am pretty curious myself to see what this big bad btl can do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I say get a 20.1 for 500 before I spent 500 on a 2500d you can get used for 320 all day long.

there's a Used SSX1500.1 for $350 in the classifieds, 3000 watts @ 1 ohm, that should do u plenty
