Why would you want to compare a W7 and an SX? At least pick the XXX as RE's contender, it makes more sense. In that case imo it would be xxx, w7, type x. The Alpine isn't in the same class as the w7's, xxx's and brahma's imo.

yea altho the sx can get pretty **** loud compared to the xxx and w7, its just not fair to make that comparison as the sq on the xxx and w7 are a step above the sx. output might be a better comparison, but if your looking for overall sql, then you cant really put the sx in there.

alright lets put it this way, i put "throw it up" by lil jon in my cd player, which of the three, from the best to the worst, will be the loudest, as in jarring ur chest wise. I put the SX in their to see were it stands against the big doggs.

Depending on the install, the SX and W7 will be very close in SPL...with the cake possibly going to the SX. The type-x will sound amazing, but will not be near as loud as either of the other two.

pretty much sums it up right there. the sx's get extremely loud for the price. ive been very impressed with the few that ive heard to say the least. depending on the install, they can exceed or at least be very close to a w7 in spl.

My SX has really good SQ, while also getting loud, but then again it is about the install from what everyone says. I have mine in 2.5ft^3 @32 hz and it hits all the lows and sounds great while doing it.

Id just like to point out the crx in that sig is no longer a front wheel drive car, obviously. Its not that uncommon to change FWD's into RWD's for racing. Clearly thats the case there, not just some moron putting giant slicks on non-powered wheels. Makes for a good joke tho I guess.
