should i keep the new box at 4cubes or 3.5? or maybe i should buy more sx's and make a wall hehe maybe when i get the money

Did you do all the little things to help increase your score? Windows/doors open, seats all the way up, backseat folded down, sub box either all the way to the back or front of the trunk, take out your 6x9's, and then mess around with the mic placement. And if you just did a little burp, I'd crank the sh!t up like crazy for those few seconds.

yes, Jntar was at the contest he helped me out. i folded the seats down i scooted my seat way the f**** i was skished up front i opend my glove box door was a little less than half open so the air is sound is forced to the mic. i had my sub fireing in had i turned my box to fire my sub to the side i am sure i could hit the 140. but i dont think i have room to turn the sub sideways,what about diagnaly sideways hehe?

is it tuned to 28hz or 32?

an SX is not magical, but i would say done right it would hit above a 140 pretty easy

the box that i am using was orginally designed for my old SE it was tuned to 32hz. i tuned my subsonic to 28 when i dropped the sx in.

since i have it tuned to 28hz what do u suggest i tune it to for SPL mode 37hz?

Turning your SSF down does not change the tunning of your enclosure.

You want louder, build a 5ft^3 box tuned to 42-52hz with 3-4 4" aero ports...

i would do one box to some high note, then a 28-35hz daily box

how do you like your SX vs your SE, hows the sq and ouput compare, what about the real lowend fqs

If you need great output get an SX the SQ isnt bad,but i did like my SE SQ wise much better I wish i had the room for 2 SE's ported. but since my SX is in the trunk a lot of it gets filtered through the seats so it sounds great. just dont plan to seal an sx. if you really do demand SQ with a bang then get urself the XXX.

u should notice a increase in your score...cuz its a more efficient box

it would only take him a few hours to exlpain to you the details... i would search for it.
