Switch short?

I have a Rockford Fosgate R600x5 amp. The two channels for the front speakers both work, and if I hook the rear speakers up to those two channels they play music. When it's all hooked up like it should be the rear two will play sometimes if I mess with the 2/4/5 channel switch. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong with it?

what year is your amp from? the owners manual on here doesnt show a 2/4/5 switch. As far as I can recall, amps back in the day used this type of switch to tell it if your bridging the 1/3 and 2/4 channels fwiw
