If i run the remote wire to a switch will this work?
My amp is hooked directly to the battery via a 4 Guage wire and my switch panel is in a small console on the dash.
There is no way i can get the 4awg wire up onto that switch panel, so if i hooked up the remote lead to a constant 12v source and a switch, then when i flip the switch will the amp come on/turn off ?
Correct me if im wrong but doesnt the remote wire sense power so it knows to turn the amp on? If so So this should work right???

I dunno has anyone done this? Will it work?
