My friend asked for some help for a budget of $1000 and I have been able to come up with this deal. Its a 2001~ f150 supercrew

CDT m6 midbass

CDT es-01 tweeters

CDT 560 xovers $350

Kicker zx550.2 for the 2 way front set up. $240 shipped

Kicker zx750.1 $130 shipped

TC sounds 12" tc-9 $160 shipped

I was thinking ported at 33hz, 2.5-3cu ft. Using aeros or maybe slot port not sure.

or sealed at 1.5-2cu ft.

That puts it around $900. So their is $100 for wiring and supplies.

How does it look? What would you change.

I have one question, Where are you going to put the sub enclosure in that truck? Is it a dual bucket back seat? Blow through or what?
Raising the back seat. I am going to make some custom brackets that will give me more room underneath the seats. Remove the back paneling behind the seat and make a custom amp rack back their.

About the set up, I have a 2002 supercrew, I would ditch the rear fill. Before I went active on my rainbows I could fade to the rears in and out and I couldn't tell the difference so rear fill is out. I don't have any experience with any of the products.

I once raised my back seat also, have since lowered it back down. It cost me around 20 bucks in 1/4 inch tubular steel that I drilled through, bought longer bolts and raised my seat like 2-3 inches if I remember correctly. I'll tell you raising the back seat actually made it more comfortable to sit back there, but what do I care I don't sit there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Make sure you take pics of the build for me, I could never fit a 12 under the seat, I'm curious to see you make it work and if it does, I'll revisit the idea.

Hey no problem I will keep you posted. If need be, the brackets i make work I can make some for you. It is my friends truck so we'll see how this works out. I can't remember how much room is their now so i have to take a look tommorow.

Okay you have me decided to say forget the rear fill and forget the 2nd amp as well. That will save him some money too. Not that much but its some.

ive got a 12 inch kicker cvx that might fit that bill a little better than that tc 9 12 and can handle the watts nicely 143 shipped
i'll keep it mind. I dont really want to give him any cvx's though. I just dont like them.
