I don't think it's worth it for a car under 10k. For it's engine size, ******, rear end, etc. it couldn't handle anything that would make your tires burn away. I would just skip that and buy a car with a large engine for under 10k. That way the maintenance and any tuning would be much less time consuming for about the same result in terms of speed.

well i rreally want a ***** am or a camaro but where im going to college gets like a ton of snow and i would be at home alot if the car isnt front wheel drive

lame unless your talking about somewhere like alaska, its a blast driving rwd here in michigan and we get up to around 1 1/2 feet in the winter, just gotta know what ur doing man

 
For 10 grand, I'd pick me up an Integra ls motor and turbo that sucker. Of course little internal works as well but in the end, it'll be cheap and fast as a mofo!
