Just watched this movie and it was very disturbing to say the least. For those of you that don't know about this movie its a documentary about an average adult male that goes on a 30 day mcdonalds binge(Thats all he ate for breakfast, lunch, dinner nothing else) to see how it would affect his body. Well he was 6'2 185 and in perfect health,(mainly because of his vegan gf im sure) he went to 3 different doctors at the very beginning to get a complete physical. Well needless to say after 30 days he had put on 30 pounds and his liver had taken on damage, heart wasn't doing good, body got addicted* to the fast food and several other problems that i won't ruin for you. It shed light on how the fast food companys are out there to make a profit and could care less about our health. It went into detail about how processed our food is and had very good interviews with nutrition experts. So how does everyone feel about fast food and how it it affects your health? Anyone actually done there own research on fast food chains, that can shed light on the issue?

I didn't really eat a lot of fast food before I seen that movie ... maybe once a month or so. I thought it was common knowledge that stuff isn't good for you and shouldn't be eaten daily.

Still only eat fast food once a month or less.

Its common knowledge that its not good for you but to that extreme is not "common" knowledge. I mean remeber that doctor was comparing his liver to as if he was a drunk far as the damage that was happening which is astonishing to say the least. I mean did you watch the special features? They put a big mac, mcdonalds french fries, real french fries, a hamburger made from real beef. After 10 weeks everything had spores and was breaking down execpt the mcdonald french fries? Thats because of all the chemicals and how processed they are i mean how the f*ck does it not break down? Really scary and i doubt i will eat there french fries anytime soon. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sick.gif.b1847c8dabbfeeddbcf1a78052249e10.gif

thats gross.....i think i am addicted to fast food, i eat it on avg 5-6 times a week. i think today was my last fast food meal...........thats just disgusting

when i used to get del taco fries every night, my face would get all greasy, which is why i quit the first time.

at least i dont smoke

i think the movie is bullshit... look at what he orders, no normal small meals he gets the bigger more unhealthier ones, also did he stop exercising while on this diet?

I can't believe that your actually arguing that this movie is bullshit. Okay first off he only gets supersized when asked otherwise he gets the regular which is medium. Also he he gets the meals he likes i mean everything on that menu has alot of fat grams in it, i mean why would he get the chicken nugget meal to eat for 30 days if he prefers hamburgers? Also the simply truth is that we are the fastest country and the reason we have so many overweight americans is because were lazy. The reason our fast food business's make so much money is because we rather buy there food then cook at home. If everyone went out and exercised then we wouldn't have this problem, would we? If you have known anyone overweight then you would know that he did exactly in the movie what the typical overweight american does when it comes to eating fast food. I don't mean to stereotype but lets not try to make up some bullshit that mcdonalds is anyway healthy for you. I tell you what go on a 30 day mcdonald binge and it 3 times a day and see how your body reacts and make sure to keep us posted. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bsflag.gif.21f42eccd34b7d1eb1608fb1b59b69c3.gif

its bull shit, because even though the SS is offered doesnt mean he has to take it. offering is just part of the job. he goes into this venture a heathy man who i am sure excerises daily and watches his diet to doing neither and doesnt expect to gain weight? and yes everything on the menu does have fats in it and if he likes burgers, why would he get the biggest ones... im sure a single quarter pounder would leave him just as full as the double, he probly forces it in him self to finsh what he orders also, which a lot of people have left overs which get thrown away. on another note how many people do u know that only eat red meat, and no chicken or fish?

this is like a said micheal moore movie, with its bias side chosen

I for one eat alot more red meat then i do chicken or fish. I dont' even remeber the last time i had fish and i on average if i eat fast food 3 times a week then maybe once every other week i will get chicken so its not so far fetched to believe he would only eat red meat. The difference with this movie and michael moores is that the issue in this movie has already been proven and people are just naive to think fast food isn't bad for you. Do you think the doctors in this movie were actors? I mean you can't argue against science and say fatty, greasy, processed foods dont' damage your organs. On monday call up the same doctors he used for this movie such as an heart, gastro, doctor and ask there opinions and see if its just "propaganda" or actual facts. I will do some research of my own tonight and post links when i find direct links to fast food and your body so it won't be as "biased".

i believe its true but u look over one of my points,

he goes into this venture a heathy man who i am sure excerises daily and watches his diet to doing neither and doesnt expect to gain weight?
i mean how can u not expect changes like that, another thing how many people in the united states do u actualy know that only eat fast food, nothing else? its bias because he goes from a healthy diet his body is use to, to nothing but junk... off course its not gonna be good for him.

I see what your saying i mean his gf was a vegan chef, so i have no doubt in my mind he was healthy and the doctors even proved that in the documentary. I don't think the point in the movie though was to show that if you eat fast food 3 times a day and only that your body will get sick, but to show in a broad view that even though you may not eat only fast food that it does harm. I think they should have used a variety of different people that came from different diets to really prove his point, like an experiment. For instance, have one person that eats fast food 3 times a week then the rest of the time has either home cooked meals or snacks. Then a second person that eats fast food twice a week then a balanced diet the rest of the week, and so on. That way it will show how it affects you, depending on how many times a week you go. Maybe he will do a follow up and have a group of people that are willing to be part of this experiment. What do you think?

yea... now i think u are seeing is the way i am. they really should have used a few different people, i mean i know its unhealthy but if eaten moderatly u will be fine.

also i have to back my company //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

This movie is not biased at all. The whole point is to find out what happens to a person when they disreguard their health and just order super sided McDonnalds burger meals all the time. The conclusion is that it's horrible for you. If you take that to mean "everyone that eats fast food is a horrible person", you're missing the point. I haven't seen it yet, so I can't say for sure, but there really isn't room for bias in the premise of this movie, its pretty cut and dry.
