I am running two 12L7s in ported enclosure.

Both being 2 owm speakers.

How is the 1500 sundown and or will I blow the subs with this?

And can I run this amp at .5 ohms on a regular?

My last question is yes to all these questions being sundown is a great amp....?

Only had one shortcoming with sundown and that was one of the photographers was on here being a kid (maybe he was a kid) which I really didn't think was good representation of a company. The owner actually PM'd me though to find out what was going on, so I would say customer service is pretty top notch.

Build wise, they are VERY good.

Build wise yes, but you are not warranted for running that amp below 1 ohm anymore. Too many noobx's think they can do that and turn all the gains up.

What is your electrical set up right now?

It is not recommended and not warrantied to run the 1500 on less then 1 ohm unless you have upgraded electrical. With that said, it will run .5 all day long with a decent battery to keep voltages up.

As for service, Jacob offers some of the best in the industry. The amp will give you 1500 all day and usually more then that comfortably at 1 ohm.

I am biased, but Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D is an excellent amp.

x2 with proper electrical. I ran 1 at .75ohm for about a month, and now have 2 strapped at 1.5ohm, so .75 each. I did a 10 minute LOUD demo for a guy today and amps were NOT even warm to the touch.

VERY solid amps, look nice, and Jake is a great guy to deal with. Bought the last one thru Denim/SSA.........
