So you back actual garbage and call good korean made amps garbage? Wtf goes on in that mind of yours?
I have 2 hifonics Brutus amps that I blew, a 1200.1d and a 1400.1d. every single shop I've brought them to (over 6) told me that they are the absolute cheapest mosfet pieces they've ever seen.. brands they haven't even heard of. and they do put out dirty power. my friend has a Brutus 3200.1d, has more than enough electrical to back it, has a high end alpine hu all the cool gadgets and couldn't get the gain past half without his smd clip detector going ape wild. so I am not their biggest fan

you must be doing something seriously wrong man, when ran properly my brx 2400 amps are a solid 2000 watts and handle 0.5 ohm loads. FYI autotek is 1/3 the quality of hifonics atm. Did you guys even perform an actual clamp test on an oscilloscope and get proper numbers? or is just sh*t talking and speculation?

Turning up the gain high doesnt relate to amp being quality.

Turning up the gain high doesnt mean quality either.
I wasn't aware of autotek and hifonics compared. so if I were to get another brx would it be safe to get a bigger one and run all 4 of my 10s at 2 ohms? or 2 1.2k at 1 ohm each

Gain past half? That means the HU had 4v preouts. That's a good thing

i'd take care of other issues that causes your amps to blow before even think of going bigger. Doesnt matter if you get the best amp out there and blow it, then call it junk just because you blew it. Stuff doesnt work that way man.

Autotek, crunch, mb Quartz, hifonics.

Also the SQ is not the same but they share SOME parts. All amps use fets, coils, ect

I just went from a 9 year old 110a alternator and a bad battery to a 275a singer and I'm about to order 2 agms, along with upgrading wire in my car so I don't see what other problems I could have

Gain settings? head unit settings? Head unit signal quality? Bad ground? Could be a lot of overlooked things, it can happen to anyone, just need to make sure its taken care of before you put in an expensive amp.

every one of my grounds is straight to chassis sanded off with a power tool around area of contact. I don't use the eq on my hu or phone. my hu lpf is

You think not being able to turn the gain up is a bad thing.
