Got a few questions about this amp...

Does it actually put out 1200 watts at 1 ohm?

Do I need to use 0 guage wire or is 4 guage enough?

Last but not least do I have to get an h/o alt, mines 70 amps?

you should be fine if you have 2 or more batteries

lol, quick and to the point, I like that. **** I dont have room for two batteries. I barely have enough room for the four E8's.

This amp under-rated and capable of more like 1500watts @ 1ohm. Don't skimp on the wire. Run 1/0awg. You won't need an H/O alt. At the very least get a really good battery under the hood. The biggest you can fit in there.

I have 1 for sale 270$$$ I used 1/0 gauge but trimed it down abit around to 2gauge at the end

go with 1/0 ga ofc . and i got a 140a alt hc2000 ft and hc800 rear no issues

i had a 105 alt a 800 and 1 2400hc and no problems. . . your alt is really small i used a battery charger every night.
