Sundown SA - Same league as Fi / Incriminator / AA?

B come one i really have to point it out. its called american bass. yet none of it is american.. kmsl.. ive spoken with bob many years ago. hes a good guy. i just think he could do some american builds.. i know times are tuff but you gotta be proud to be american and want to use some american parts.
When you think about it, it actually makes sense
Almost all there subs are $200 or less so there's no real point (it would still be all Chinese parts, at best you could drive the prices up and glue them here but it's not like they've had serious issue with quality control).

idea of what a "fair price" is. Just because some jackass at american bass can order another companies product with a different dustcap for cheaper, does not a superior product make.
This is one of the most ignorant things i've read on this site.
Your idea of american bass: "durr lets put this cone on this basket, I think thats a good idea ?"

Reality: Making reliable and respected products for over 20 years. Consistently revising/ updating products to keep up with modern times (hell most of there products have had 3 major revisions just in the last decade).

I don't see whats up your arse in regards to american bass (they market mostly sub 200 dollar bracket and they offer a good and dependable product, there owner is a good guy as well and is always looking for improvements)

Calling Bob of all people a "jackass" is about as low as you can get

I am completely unbiased to Sundown SA I don't like their sound signature that's just my personal taste plus I had a horrible experience with one of his dealers. But how can you not love Jacob after this post its not possible to not!! That takes courage confidence and TIME to come here and talk to us time and time again. When I see people like Jacob and Denim on here posting with us I remind myself how lucky I am that we get to actually communicate with them at all!! They are here on the front lines and for that reason alone I'll pay for the slightly larger price tags. That being said I'd take a SSA or FI over the SA-12 any day, but my girl and buddy would stand if front of a train for their SA's At the end of the day I learned with questions like this you will get all kinds of opinions some are formal with specs details numbers to support their opinion and others just plain and simple as "I like this brand better" just take it all in and know at the end of the day until you try each yourself you never really know what YOU will like because we all hear differently!

Haha i expected denim to say something quick.
The evil series are beast for what they are. I just like talking ****.

Well duh.

Someday someone isn't gonna put up with it then you'll soon find out it's not fun and games anymore.

Yes, I would feel comfortable with a single sub setup using an SA. For the longest time I had a single SA 10 on a Fosgate T1000-BDCP in my F250. Box was close to recommended specs but tuned a bit lower. It surprised tons of people when they found out it was only 1 10. Again, it's really going to depend on your power to see which one is a better fit. I would say every sub you listed could have comparable results. Whichever sub you ran wouldn't break Physics and you will always be limited by power handling. I personally wouldn't consider any of the choices a ground pounder setup (I don't consider mine a ground pounder setup), but any one has the potential to get decently loud and definitely show you were you need to deaden or reinforce your vehicle. See how much clean power you can get with your budget and make a decision from there.
hows that DP doing
