Sundown SA - Same league as Fi / Incriminator / AA?

Care to elaborate why you don't think they are in the same league? I would consider them all hobbyist entry level. Each one has their place depending on power, constraints, and goals. I'm not picking a fight, but would like to see justification to know where you're coming from.
The quality control is not there... It's coming from a mass produced factory in China probably kids building these things... They come brand new in the box with manufacture defects... Ever heard of someone getting their brand new built to order fi audio being useless outta the box... I don't think so... I have a build with an ssd and I also have a build with sundown x8's... One of my sundowns had a defect... Recone needed... I guess I'm just bitter about the customer service I got from sundowns butt buddy Sean at emf audio... And the possibility of manufacture defects and that their subs have them all the time does not scream high quality to me...

Should t have bought from Sean. BS^ sundown hands down has best customer service and hands down best QC in the business. Why do you think hey have tons of yardsale woofer that people can't find anything wrong with beside tony extra dab of glue or smudge on basket

I'm not saying sundown isn't good... And that sundowns dog ****... I'm just saying I prefer my built to order sub over sundown. Also for a sub there getting from China shits way over priced

I challenge you to get a similar product to market at the same price. If you can't, you've no place to say that.

Disclaimer: have never owned nor recommended a sundown product in my life.

I don't need to fi has USA in house built subs at a better price already so eat your own words

A few years ago they where under $180. They where a good value then.
That was before they got greedy... And they were sold at a fair price

The sundown is not in the same league... And fi / aa / ssa are all birthed in the same factory in Las Vegas ... They used to gloat cast and tooled in house... Didn't see that on their site anymore tho maybe that's why the price has dropped

Which aa are you talking about because the ascendant audio I'm talking about(the real aa) doesn't build amps I take it your talking about ampere

That's the big one to me. I know even cheap China subs can throw down, see my Sig. Those subs cost me 60 a piece and the whole substage about 300. I've slammed them for 5 years. 5 frickin years. And I've run the amp into thermal shutdown a lot. Probably about 6 times in the last few months even. ( I've been harder on it than usual. *shrug*) But you can tell I've done it. The subs are starting to get some sag in them and the one I ran single for a while actually has more excursion. So much so you can see it on video, lol. I doubt they'll make it another year or two of this. Better soft parts though, and that's a different story.
