Sundown sa-8 t-line power limit

Ok so I want to get my girl a small sub like the sa-8 so I can learn a bit. And I also want to built a t-line to get that out the way also. This will be going in a 06 sontana. As of now I will use my mb 1600 amp to power it. I'm pretty sure the amp doesn't do rated my 1k. Would this amp be a good fit for the sub in a t-line box. I can run the amp at 2 ohms or I'm open to selling the amp or just getting something else. I really want a jbl ez amp since they they put out more than rated when it was tested by smd

Just checked. Never knew about sae 600. Which is pretty cheap so I know I can get a good deal used.

A small sub but a t line is like a 10, or 12 in a normal box. With t lines you dont need the full power hit up @CSCStang he does t lines left and right.

But I do have a ?. Would you recommend running a 8 or 10 In a t-line or just a 12 in a good box. As of now will say 1200 watts. But that can be changed

hmm... so thats what that is. ive seen a lot of people with home systems using t line enclosures and wondered what they were called. **** those things are massive... do you sacrifice bandwidth for output with these?

Yeah thats the one for sale. It's for an SA8v2 d2. the d4 has a different fs so the port would be slightly longer. That box in the pic is 32.5x16.75x12. Perspective: I did one for my hds210 inverted (to save room) and it is 24.75x25x12. I also recently did one for an hx300.5 12" and it's 36x21.5x14.5. They can be very large boxes. I have a design for an hds208 that's 27x12x12 with the sub inverted as well. You don't need to feed them a grip of power to get a ton of output. The hds208 is getting 300 rms @ 2ohm and it gets very loud.

The whole purpose of a t is to get loud on little power. My one hds210 was 25-30% louder than when I had both in a ported. On the ported box I was giving both subs 1200rms@1ohm. In the t I was giving the one 600rms@2ohm.
