With the differences in styles of enclosures Jake, it has been noticed that neos do have a high impedance rise problem.

Have you brain stormed over any way to help this issue?

It's going to be fairly expensive with the motor being USA made... I'd say around $2k MSRP pricing. If I can get that down at all I'll try but the T-Yolk took around 90 minutes of machine time to make.
Goal is *very* efficient SPL... with the first prototype I am going to be testing a few ideas I've had with it and I will go from there with development for production.

There is no ETA to have them available - just depends on how testing goes as it is an all new style design for us.

i like this idea alot. if you've seen the early results from the 15 challenge, its amazing how inefficient the bigger drivers are. i'd love to see a really really efficient spl driver that can hang w/ the bigger, super inefficient ones.

N52 neo + 4" coil. I have more details but I like to keep those to myself.

The DDZ has a giant 8-layer flat coil -- high inductance. I think that is the #1 problem it has with impedance rise.

This sub won't have that problem -- testing will see if it pays off!

If somebody could size this problem down quite a bit, I believe the 99Z will have some reconstruction issues to deal with, or face being on bottom.

The cascade designs one is real.... i will be the first user of them. They are being built currently... been waiting several months.... NEO's obviously take alot of work.

T3 is supposed to have one on the way. RD is supposed to have the SHW neo coming out. Cactus has one on the way kinda looks like the DD Z motor. And I think last Cascade Designs is supposed to have one on the way dunno if it was just talk but im pretty sure I seen it some were. So that's alotta companys would love to see some tests against the old Shocker Sig neo, IA Warden and the DD Z and 95Z motors.
Wow that's some serious steel guess your not releasin the size of the motor OD, top plate and pole piece sizes total depth and all that?
