if i were to get 2 audioque 2200d amps and 2 audioque HDC3 12" subs(an amp per a sub) wired down to 1 ohms could the copper series handle it or would i have to buy the aluminum?

also on the audioque website it says 1000 watts rms 2000 watts peak for those subs. but also on there it says you can hook 1 2200d with one HDC3 sub. the amp puts out 2200 at 1 ohms so how would this not damage or blow the sub?

new coppers will take a 2200 each, just need to make sure it's a clean signal and you have the electrical to support the amps. And don't go crazy big on the enclosure either...

I run a 3500D on each HDC daily with no issues. DJ tends to underrate his subs

by clean signal what do u mean?
and box specs i was just thinkin 2 cubes a sub, ported, 38hz. hows that sound?
4cubes @ 38Hz with 64^2 of port area would be fine.

By clean meaning the gain isn't maxed and clipping the signal and voltage isn't dropping down to 10-11v.
