Sundown kills'm every year. But I don't expect this to change Sundown's overall company outlook. This woofer will sell to less than 1% of car audio consumers, maybe 0.1%.

When this sub comes out.... it will have of atleast 3 other neo subs to compete with that will already be out this year.

One of them is the arch rival RD Audio SHW Neo

Im not laughing at the figures.... im laughing at the previous statement about how Sundown rules them all.

The figures I believe are more than accurate.... I have gotten msrp pricing on the next series of neo subs coming from other companies and they are far below 2k.

T3 is supposed to have one on the way. RD is supposed to have the SHW neo coming out. Cactus has one on the way kinda looks like the DD Z motor. And I think last Cascade Designs is supposed to have one on the way dunno if it was just talk but im pretty sure I seen it some were. So that's alotta companys would love to see some tests against the old Shocker Sig neo, IA Warden and the DD Z and 95Z motors.

Wow that's some serious steel guess your not releasin the size of the motor OD, top plate and pole piece sizes total depth and all that?

I'd be happy to sell ~50-100 of them -- for larger volume sellers I will concentrate on our other lines.

I also think my approach is a bit different from alot of the other Neo subs coming out -- I know that it is drastically different from the DD Z style approach.

Many of the other subs, like the Warden, have a pretty amazing price point for what they are... IMO.

I figured as much, I dont have a boner for any companies. But I do know people here were all over the NightShade when it first came out, only to be put in the same class as RD Audios 3rd level entry subwoofer and T3s second level entry.

And a bunch of people here said the same things back about the NS like there saying now about the new Sundown Neo "its gonna OWN"

And from what I have seen, these people who are inexperienced and have only owned ONE maybe TWO woofers at most, and the sub they buy is a NS and they say its the best.... when 90% of this site doesnt have experience. Its pretty easy to sell to those who dont have experience. Just like a BONER, Boners are for kids who never experience pu-ssy enough to know that there is better... so they get a boner.

I hope Jake pushes this sub to its limits and comes out with something great! The DDZ needs some competition after how many years?!?!?!

i understand where you're coming from. I mean you can see in my thread that all of my equipment is as Anti-boner as can be. I do recognize, however, how people are on this site and how they jump on the bandwagon with specific company's drivers/amps
