Sundown helpo.

Like I mentioned before my amp was doing something very similar. The sub output would fade out to almost nothing. I took some readings cold, then warmed up and the amp was not putting out the right voltage. I also tested the RCA's to ensure it wasn't the deck. So then I put in my second 1500d and it's been running fine, just like the first one did before it acted up. I just haven't had a chance yet to send it into Jacob yet =( Oh well it happens, no biggy.

sucks. im not stressing it , it happens. im just trying to figure if it was the amp or my truck, but it IS doing the same thing it was in her car also.

went to mcdonalds with the bass going , stopped in the drive-thru , then it just stopped. turned the HU on and off , and still nothing. so we left the hu on with the volume all the way down, turned it up when we were leaving and the bass was there again.

went on a longer drive to dinner with the amp in and the problem is more apparent. the bass stopped completly on the way there, we left it on and it came back in a little but not how it should be and still no protect light. if the amp were to go into protect , i would have to turn the HU on and off to 'reset' it, right?

hopefully jacob will see this and chime in...

Yes, you would need to reset the remote connection if it was in protection.

it never has gone into protect though, even when the bass cuts out. should i go ahead and send it in? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

It really doesn't sound like an amp issue at this point. What kind of RCA cable are you using? If the amp doesn't actually power down or go into protection it's a low likelihood of amp issue.

Do one thing before sending it in... open it up (I authorize you to do so) and make sure the RCA wires are not loose where they connect to the PCB or to the RCA terminal.

in the truck , i have RF twisted series rca's , and in the car , some tiff? 2.0 rca's. she has a PG x600.1 in the car that works fine in there, all i did was swap them out.

ill open it up and check it out in a few...

the rca connections looked fine to me. looking over everything else i noticed this...
