Sundown E8V3D2 (8" 300w) vs Soundstream R3.8 (8" 500w)

I am running a (1) sundown e8v4 in a custom ported enclosure. I think it's about .65 cubic feet (can't remember for sure). Running off a JL audio e1400d at 2 ohms. Amp is 400rms at 2 ohms.

Make sure to set your gain correctly. I did via dmm and it def made a difference than just guessing. I couldn't believe how easy it was once I did it. Took all of 5 minutes.

The enclosure layout was provided to me by sundown support because the one listed on their site is a tad to big and was more for the SA8.

After the sub broke in, it hits pretty hard and works great for my 2000 subaru 2.5rs. The lows are pretty good for my needs and when the volume is turned it, it def will shake your rear view mirror and other things.

I think my enclosure is tuned to 35hz.
