you know why everything is made in china and asia because they are much more intelligent than people in the U.S. its that simple who could design an amp on here?? not many and how long would it take u

This grew fast, it was just a couple of responses a few min ago.

Im staying clear of this, but Ill say one thing, I like CS. I like the fact I can send an email to a company on a Saturday or Sunday, and get a response that same day, (I have done this with Jacob at Sundown and DJ at Audioque), let alone the owners of said company. Lets see you get a tech at Kicker or RF on a weekend. That says alot about both companies IMO.

My thing is if it aint broke dont fix it. If you like Sundown amps cool. If not, thats cool too, just keep it moving and buy something else, its plenty out there.

I dont mind products made outside the US, as long as they do their job well, im more than content.

there are reps for cs that post on termpro... but if amps are in the same price brackett and are made to compete against each other for customers its like anything else they will have some of the same technology...

are you crazy go look at the students and how intelligent kids are over there and compare our school system to china's haha they have to know about 3 or 4 languages its just no comparasion. Look at all the doctors and scientist most are not from this country.

If you can find 2 companies in the industry that make their products in the US - including sourcing all parts in the US, congrats. In some way or another, almost every single product you buy these days comes from Asia. Any speaker (including some of the most high end brands), any amp, any sub, etc. There is nothing about Asia that deems a product to be of lower quality. Take Hertz for example. Everybody raves about them, loves the product - well guess what, it's still made in Asia. The quality of Asian buildhouses today is excellent. There's nothing wrong with having a product made there in terms of build quality. You're still going to get an excellent product. Every single car audio item that I own was built in Asia - and all the products I use are considerably high end. Doesn't bother me one bit from a quality standpoint. They're all quality, well-built products. Thinking that a product today is American made is just lying to yourself.

I just like picking on all you Sundown nut huggers who like to chime in with a "me too" response every single time someone says they are getting a Sundown amplifier.
In fact, this is how every single Sundown amplifier thread seems to go:

Ca.com member A says: "I just ordered a Sundown 2000"

Ca.com member B says: "Me too"

Then the rest of the collective jumps in and starts the strokefest as to how good the amps are for the money and how you can't beat the customer service.

I've seen some shit on here where Jacob has obviously had to deal with a complete moron, and still hooks them up... ie chase007. People are over here hating, and then they are running shit like Rockford, JL, RE, Pioneer, etc, etc. You don't think you were drawn to this by reputation, or... "nut hugging"?

The company is good, and gets its following for a good reason. I watched the same exact shit with RE, and I don't see anything wrong with it.

I agree and disagree with you. While unfortunately they do have much smarter children then us, the amps are not made over there for that reason. They also have alot of people who are in fact, not smart and work for dirt.

jacob seems to have great customer service no doubt, but come on people. good amps yes, but there are better amps at a better price. some of these 14 year olds on this forum just like to stick together
