i know siggested ported is .60 but what kind of power should i give 2 of them in .42 tuned to 33 Hz. I dont want to murder them when i buy them but i dont want to build a new box.

so whats the suggested box sealed? sq reports so far are looking good. I may have to get some. I would have to run pairs in series and i don't like doing that, will that make a difference? I have done it before and its worked but just checking. approximately how much are recones going to be? I am steering away from idmaxes due to the retarded 190 for a recone

You could get away with that box but these are not optimized for an enclosure that small.

Let me get an exact quote for recones but a sealed box for these will be pretty small. You should be in the .26-.30 cube range per driver

would these make good mids? what's the mounting depth? i have never seen one before...

pms returned and yes you could use it as a mid but it is not recommended. These were designed lor lows and the fs is in the 30hz range. in short it can be done but you will not get optimum performance. Mounting depth is 4.5"

I think if you are going to go ported you should be closer to spec just to get your tuning right. The sealed boxes should be a bit more forgiving.
