Summer 09 Integra re up...... 15'' RE SEXXX build.

Thanks dude. I am going to enjoy this sub for a little longer and then ditch the sub and box in favor of turboing the car.
Its loud and all but I want a peppy car that can handle the curves and this really killed it.

I'm really thinking about getting rid of my 12 to get a 10 to put in the back of my 300zx. I know if I keep it I'll have a hatch looking kind of like that. Have thought about having team psi reconing it with one of their f**ck it cones.

 
was your sub blown and thats why you sent it to team psi? or you just decided to change the parts? I dont know much about changing parts, moters softparts and all that. so can you explain what does that upgrade do? if you can.. thanks..

Changing soft parts isn't going to do a TON, but putting xxx parts on a se is fairly common. The flat wound vc increases the amount of juice you can put into it. Increasing the size of the cone will raise the sensitivity (sh!t be louder) and lower the fs (sh!t play lower easier).

ok.. thanks for clearing it up for me.. I usually see it done to the fi subs or the re/se subs.. is it possible to do it to any sub?

Eh, s2000s are pretty lackluster and disappointing to drive. They look really nice and spec great on paper but the handling is sub par (my old 240sx handled better and was more predictable) and the acceleration leaves a lot to be desired. Good looking cars though.

To the OP, if you want some help on a box design for a single 10 or for that 15 that should pretty loud, send me a PM and I might be able to help you out.

The s2000 is my dads whip. The thing is a dream. Handling is amazing and out handles a 240sx any day of the week. You must have been driving a ragged out s2k on some crusty springs.

I am going to start buying the parts to turbo the stock b18b.

Sub is coming out is getting replaced by two RE8s sealed in the rear factory 6.5'' locations or ported in the hatch.

I am ordering a set mpyre mids for the doors and will sell my big alpine in favor of a more powerful/smaller two channel.

I am going to take the doors completely apart and seal/deaden them.
