2 fi ssd 12'' subs

box was 4cu ft tuned to 38hz

highest score was 146.5

new car. hopefully louder..

i dont have a video of flex.. or anything to fancy..

but it gives you a idea how load it was. in the video it actually drowns out the mids and highs. but at the time i was running 500w rms to a set of alpine x type pro's. and the x types kept up with the bass. plus it's a cheep camera..

My mids keep up off 80 watts haha.

Thanks dude. I am going to enjoy this sub for a little longer and then ditch the sub and box in favor of turboing the car.

Its loud and all but I want a peppy car that can handle the curves and this really killed it.

141.4 was the magic number at 40hz Legal. I wanted at least a 144.0 but sub and port placement killed what ever shot I had of that.

Oh well...... Time to move to a single 10'' setup to see how loud I can get while still retaining a trunk lol. I think I can get higher than a 141.4 off a single ten lol.

I am not going to lie though. This sub POUNDS to the ear and can pull a cute little hairtrick but just can't pull a nice score on the meter.

I just can no longer deal with the lack of trunk. Its stupid. I could pull it off in an SUV or something with an easily assessable back seat but not this car. But it really is retarded loud on music and gives my ears a workout.
