Suggestion on Subwoofer size

So i sold my old setup (check sig), to my friend since it was way to load for me. I am now looking at JL subs and i was wondering what size JL W3v3 would you get if you mainly listen to alternative music like Red Hot Chili Peppers. I am looking for a little bass but nothing that will kill my ears, purely sound quality. The 12W3v3 or the 10W3v3. I am going to buy a JL 250/1 so either one will be a little under powered. Also what size sealed box should i make?, 1.5 cubes?

If you're looking to buy jlaudio stuff, you really need to shop around a bit more, maybe look at ascendant audio, soundsplinter, etcc
