suggested budget 10s ?

Hi,new to forum. So I'm looking for some budget subs for my work truck. I've been out of car audio for around 8 years. Just recently gotten back into it. About 3 months ago my parents needed a sound bar for the tv . So looking around on Crutchfield got the bug going again. I drive a truck for a living. The stock stereo in the truck leaves a lot to be desired to say the least. Pretty much wasn't listening to music at all. So I decided I needed to put a little bass in it. Had an old KW 742 hu and a kicker zx 200.4. 35x4 100 bridged. Thinking I don't want to put any $ into it I bought the cheapest 12 inch sub on Crutchfield I could get with my sound bar order, a jensen dub. Knowing it's not gonna be great but looking back could've done better for a few more dollars. Is what it is. Long story short I had more equipment laying around and most of it ended up in the truck.

Here's what im working with now. An older alpine cde 123 hu. Rockford fosgate prime 600.5 running 5.25 prime components over my head in the front. Prime 6.5 components in the bunk and an old p2 15. A refab KW xr 900, I recently bought for my personal vehicle I wasn't completely happy with so it ended up in the truck, running pioneer 6.5 coaxials in the door and the Jensen sub. Yeah I know not a good idea running different size/brand subs etc. But doesn't sound horrible and running off different amps and separate enclosures. Wasn't planned this way just using what I already had. Why I am where I am at. Wanting to go with 10s to save some room and get matching subs. I've got enough room under the bunk for 2 tens in a sealed box and a single off to the side with still having plenty of floor space. I have 900 watts of sub out put to work with so need the subs to be around 300 watts each. Need to be dvc or be single vc but be able to get 2 or 4 ohm so I can run a 2 ohm on the rf amp and two 4 ohm on the KW amp. Looking to spend 50 to 75 per sub. This will never be an sq system as this is not my truck so using sound deadening etc.isn't an option why im OK with cheap speakers cheap subs sealed boxs. Any suggesting on what subs to look at?

it's a budget system not looking too put nice subs in this truck I've got a personal vehicle for that. Would be willing to go as much as 100 per sub but that's my cut off. Just looking for suggestions that doesn't go over what I'm willing to spend on it

Alpine SWS 10” are clean, accurate, good budget subs. I think they sound better in their Alpine recommend ported enclosure so a single one will sound great but two sealed would be perfect on 450 watts rms each. Yes I own these subwoofers so I speak from experience. other good brands are JBL series 2 and 3 and NVX X series subs. A single FI Alpha might also do very well on that power in a ported arrangement.

I've looked at the NV X's but wasn't sure about them. Wasn't around 20 years ago when I was really into car audio. Haven't checked out JBL so so i'll give those a look.

would love to go ported but I don't have any wood tools so building or buying a box would b costly. I'm stuck at being able to power 3 subs at 300 watts. I know me so if I got subs that were capable of handling much more then that id eventually spend more to do that. So the series 2 maybe right for me. thanks

pioneer 3003 pro 600rms great for $80.. fu 300 FU Car Audio, fu audio, fu car audio u can get the sundown e bstock for like $87 on car audio bargain.com

lol sorry the pioneers are 12's they don't make 10's but 1 ported with 5-900 rms sounds good
yeah that Wouldn't b bad but not looking to go ported with this just to keep cost down.Basically have a small cubby hole under the bed roughly 29" wide almost 14" tall that would fit a couple of tens in and I also have a open closet space I could put another one in. This would give me pretty much all my floor space back.

I've got a morel primo 10 in my ridgeline I'm pretty happy with but more then I want to spend for the work truck. It's in a sealed box right now but I am looking into getting a ported box for it. My wife drives the truck most of the time so wanted to ease her into it. Why I started off sealed lol. Luckily she's digging it.Anyway net audio can build me one to spec for the morel for 170. Seems pretty reasonable.

Are the pioneer champion series decent? Like I said not looking for sq just decent build quality that'll work in a sealed enclosure.

Believe it or not... but from my experience for a cheap azzed sub that got down and i was actually pleased with were some Cheap Lanzar Max Pro tens. I put ea. one in a ported enclosure of 1.6 at 35 htz in a hatchback vehicle on an old school autotek mean machine 99 and it was loud as hell and was very impressive for cheapies.Highly recommend for your budget

I dont give a crap what anyone here says about these subs..If you havent Ran them or Experienced them for yourself, you need not comment or bash till you run a pair yourself.Best cheap bang for the buck for under $50 bucks for a 10 IMO, and experience

agree with that bashing statement. exactly what I am looking for experience from someone who's used the product. The subs I am using now aren't horrible at all. Even the Jensen sub is ok. Nothing to right home about though. Good for a back up. The rf 15 is over ten years old. That'll probably end up in my step sons car. Im eyeballing the JBL series2 ,the pioneer champion 10, and the nvx x series. ill checkout the lanzars thx.

Im honestly thinking about putting either a pair of 8s or a single ten in the Co. Truck..Lanzar Max Pro series
