I tried this before with shitty answers, lets try again.

Going in Explorer, cost is issue, no more than 400? for 2, prefer 18's, but 15's will be kool if they are nice. Power will be discussed later.

50/50 spl/sq subs will fire forward likely, if it matters to decide.

Amp choices are memphis 1100d(or 2) and an oldschool US HC-50. I would prefer to use the 50 just for the Hot Damm factor.

Who makes low rms/low impedance 18's?

And screw alpine, I burnt too many amps/door speakers back in the 90's. I got bad luck with em.

I honestly think about a pair of dd1515, but don't know what that little 50 pushes at 1/2 ohm, I cant find out anywhere.

there subs are not the same as their speakers. Their subs can handle more power than most out there and still want more
