I dont know what ur budget is but the ****in ZX1000.1 is the ****. I just replaced an Orion HCCA-2400 with it and its way better. The orion was at 1 ohm and pushin out a lot of crap. The zx is at 4 ohms on a 12 Type R in 2.25 @32 hz and it ****in slaps with only 500 watts

What vc's dual 2 or 4 ohm? I've got two of the same subs running off a zx15001 at two ohms (dual 2 ohm vc's).Does pretty good.Not too sure about subs box and other crap that cheap though.

The two Kicker L7's wired in series [connecting the two voice coils of each driver in series (+ to -) and the drivers themselves in parallel (+ to +)] will produce a 2 ohm load on an amplifier. The total power that the subs can handle is 1500 watts RMS(root means square). I recommend to you the Rockford Fosgate T15002. It is rated at 1500 watts rms x 1 channel @ 2 ohms in bridged mode. That is exactly the amount of power your subs need. The amp does cost $770 on Woofersetc.com, I'm not sure if you may be able to find it on eBay. I also suggest you get a 1 Farad capacitor for every 1000 watts of power. They also make .5 or 1/2 Farad capacitors. Since you'll be operating at 1500 watts, you're going to need one 1 Farad and one 1/2 Farad capacitors. Good Luck.

ZX1000.1 is only about $400 shipped with a 1 year warranty at onlinecarstereo.com.

You can get a ZX1500.1 refurb from HFSC for $380 + shipping. Would be a much better match for 2 12" L7's IMO. Just another option for you.

That too... Im not too fond of refurbs but the zx1500.1 is also at onlinecarstereo.com for about 500 shipped. They are both worth every penny

If you're upgrading your electrical, pending how much you plan on putting in as well as to whether you're looking to upgrade in the future. A second battery is always a good idea and will help out quite a bit.

Wouldn't worry too much about a capacitor. Do the big 3 instead.If you intend to use a one channel amp at 2ohms you need dual 2 ohm subs.Use dual 4 for a two channel amp.

get a zapco reference 1100.1 or a zapco c2k 6.0

i was considering a 6.0 and 4.0 to replace my dc refs right now, and after speaking to my sources, i learned that you really dont want a 6.0 at 2 ohm mono. it will shut off all day.
