I was actually thinkin about tryin one of the konaki 15's just to see how loud I can get one. I'm basically just lookin for which 15 would be the loudest with the given specs

The Konaki's bottom spider is ripping at higher excursion, there is a different DD/AQ rip off made by MD (Mobile Dynamics) which I have yet to hear anything bad about. I'd be forced to guess that in that box, the IA LI would be the loudest based on it is more power efficient. Somewhere in the area of .47% no(reference efficiency) as opposed to the others having .37 or less. It also is amoung the highest if not the highest actual 1w/1m spec.

1w/1m spec is not a measured output... its the most misconciving spec besides xmax... Im telling you simply put you want a more linear more compliant driver.. lower MMS higher VAS but with a good b/l and low power compression... the stuifness of the suspension makes a difference in output in the same box same power etc.... to get the same output with more MMS and a lower VAS you need a larger box or more power...

check out hte acoustic elegance AV 15.. get a dual 2ohm coil and with 1200 is going to be one of the loudest woofer you can get, just be mindful of how high you tune and how big your box is...

I don't have the money right now but I start my job in a couple weeks so after that is when I'm gonna start looking for the sub. just tryin to get opinions right now
