got my Red Top at Costco for like $105

Costco will be the cheapest place to buy them. I've bought two yellow tops and one red top there.

tater tottie is suggesting the group 31 optima. and everyone is saying ixnay on the inetikkay

yeah im in the same position. i just need a battery for starter and that will run my audio. want faster discharge/charge than my autolite though. any sugestion?

edit - also depending on whether or not you can fit either of those under your hood.

wow this makes it really tough to decide man.....I can fit both, the hc2400 will fit perfectly and the g31 will fit and leaves some room and this batt will be under the hood with another yellowtop in the trunk......mr Tottie please do a side by side comparison......

i dont know scotties experience with the kinetic, but he says it is the badest *** batt out there right now. and for some strange reason... i feel compelled to believe him.

i have heard from others (who havent had direct experience with the batt) that the kinetic doesent live up to its claims.

G31=NSB and both are > 2150 and all are > 2400... that pretty much sums it up.

so what batt are YOU going with now?

oops, i didnt word that well haha. he says the optima is the best. and im going to believe him, because i know for a FACT, that he has had a crap ton of current, and used these batts. so im sure he knows a bit about these batts.

and i am a bit curious to know what batt he is going to use now as well...

lol thats what I thought, kinda funny scottie saying the kinetiks over optima...I knew something was fishie...haha

But when getting the batt just make sure you get the right one the first time so you dont have to sell it and get the other batt....
