subwoofer problem

I have a kicker l7 12 inch for about a year and a half now with no problem so far, but just today i noticed the bass is not kicking or working as it used to for every song. All you can hear now is very low bass sound, as in it is still working but it is very low when it should be pounding in certain songs. Not too sure what this would mean, is it the bass or the amp? all the connections seem fine and have not been touched for a very long time.

Appreciate any advice.

your getting used to it, its getting worn out, or its getting broken. Check the suspension on the sub.
