Subwoofer only turns on sometimes?

So I bought a new amplifier because I thought the amp was bad but turns out it wasn't because I'm still having the issue. I had my battery checked, and it's good. I checked all my wires and they're good. Basically what happens is it will sometimes turn on and play music for about a minute or two. Then usually just before the bass is about to hit it shuts off. It doesn't go into safe mode or anything. The power light is off and all. So is it my alternator?

Rewire it all. Start from the front and work back. Triple check grounds and final impedance
