KIA Sedona 2006 EX.
I want to install a rear-view camera. It requires tapping into the power wires going into the reverse light, and also running a video cable from back to the front. This is what I know how to do so far:
1. Open/Disassemble the inside "cover" of the tailgate.
2. Remove the rear light assembly (driver or passenger side).
3. Running wires through the front dash (I installed a double din stereo myself).
Here is what I don't know how to do:
How to run cable from the inside of tailgate (i.e. from the rear view camera) to a place where they can be hooked to power source (going to reverse light)?
Same for video cable: how to bring the video cable from the rear view camera to the inside of the van, from where it can then be routed to the front dash?
What inside panels/trims (and how) to remove to accomplish the above, and also so that I can connect to the power cable (and ground) going to the reverse light?
I will appreciate any and all help and pointers. If you can point me to any video or photos, that would be great too.
