Hey Everyone,

Having an issue and wondering if anyone could shed some light on it. I have a Sound Ordnance M-1350 amp powering a Sony Xplod 900w (got it 50 bucks in an enclosure on kijiji).

I have everything all wired up and the amp powers up and turns on but the sub only very quietly plays music, like ear up to it in order to hear it. I've played with the gain etc but even at max it is barely audible. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Make sure the sub/amp is wired properly to a 2 ohm load. Get a digital multi-meter to test the AC voltage coming from the amp. Make sure you have proper sized gauge wires for both power, ground and speaker wires.

The box could be a big issue also. Might need pics of the setup, how it looks like in the car, amp settings, etc..

Open screw holes sound like a little muffler, loose box panels sound like a massager on a wooden table.
