Subwoofer installation

Hello there,

I recently bought a new Toyota Highlander LE Plus. The InTune audio system it has is simply great but it lacks the bass effect that I'm wanting for - simply because it doesn't contain a sub woofer.

My questions:

1. I want a bass effect that is smooth yet has a punch in it. Therefore, what amplifier & a sub woofer models will do it? Also, please let me know a typical cost associated in getting these installed.

2. Is it possible to equip the current InTune audio system without altering/modifying any part of it by having a bluetooth sub woofer connected to it. Meaning, if my current audio system is X, I want to add Y to it, Y being the sub woofer. So, X is what it was earlier but now I've Y too.

If not, what other alternatives would you suggest.

line out convertor, amp kit, amp, subwoofer, subwoofer enclosure are all the things needed for a sub setup. A cheap setup will cost about 250-300. a good setup will cost around 500. Not including install.

He did answer the 2nd question. Yes what you are wanting can be done with the factory radio still installed
