subwoofer getting hot wayyyy to fast

I didn't cause problems until you attacked me for no reason. Now you're calling me names. Yes I do think you slam your system until you smell voice coil and feel the sub getting hot. You admitted as much. You should leave your own thread if all you're going to do is insult those who are helping.
of course im gonna do that the first time. i had to find out what was going on. now i dont turn my volume up at all on my head unit till i get my ho alt and the big three done. if you gonna keep talking **** on here then leave and advertise your bullshit website somewhere else.

Lol. I haven't mentioned my website.... and now I'm not leaving. You've got your answer. Why are you continuing to post other than to just flame me?

cause your acting like i have no idea what im doing and think im gonna blow my stuff up. god forbid someone ask a question on here and people think they are new to everything. i even said in my op that i had suspicions of it being my electrical. so i know what im doing. end of story.

If you knew it all, why even create the thread asking for help?

second opinion. simple as that. didnt know you couldnt post on a forum. had to check to make sure before i put out 500 on electrical. sorry im not rich.
Well if you know more than everyone here, why would you want a second opinion? I mean you've called me names yet you know nothing about me. I help people all the time. I have several builds all that play music AND win competitions. I'm not bragging. I'm just saying, you've acted like I'm in here to put you down. I'm not/haven't. I was in here to help you. You rebuked that and continued to insult me and tell me to leave your thread. "didn't know you couldn't post on a forum".

im not bagging you for helping. im bagging you for making false accusations. and im not saying your great at car audio, and im not saying i know more than everyone, just seeing if what i suspected was true. and since that point ive turned down all the gains on my amp to preserve my system. im done fighting and arguing with you. i know im doing everything right, i just need better electrical, so stop trying to put me down saying i should have someone else set up my stuff.

so your car will have max output from the alt @ 1600rpm? that seems a bit low doesnt it
I asked that and he said yeah it will be at full ouput by 1600 rpms, course thats just what he said, but I know that is very possible, I think they guy was actually underrating the alternator (smart thing to do) It might do upwards of 275amps at top end and he might just be telling me 200 cuz thats all I'll ever get without driving on the highway in third gear at 3k+ rpms. Plus he seemed cool and knowledgeable so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't have any test equipment to clamp it with, I'm just hoping for a big enough difference in the sound. I already don't really have any clipping and my amp doesn't really get hot at all, I just worry with my potential to drain 300 amps from my fuse ratings on my amps that I might be discharging a little much. So regaurdless of how it actually performs I'm sure it will be worth the $360 if it performs better than the stock 105 amp alt.
