I asked that and he said yeah it will be at full ouput by 1600 rpms, course thats just what he said, but I know that is very possible, I think they guy was actually underrating the alternator (smart thing to do) It might do upwards of 275amps at top end and he might just be telling me 200 cuz thats all I'll ever get without driving on the highway in third gear at 3k+ rpms. Plus he seemed cool and knowledgeable so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't have any test equipment to clamp it with, I'm just hoping for a big enough difference in the sound. I already don't really have any clipping and my amp doesn't really get hot at all, I just worry with my potential to drain 300 amps from my fuse ratings on my amps that I might be discharging a little much. So regaurdless of how it actually performs I'm sure it will be worth the $360 if it performs better than the stock 105 amp alt.
