How much subwoofer displacement would i need to take in to account when building a box for two JL w3 12's? I figure about .5 cubic feet or so, sound about right?? And when I cut the hole for the subs to be mounted, the hole should be EXACTLEY 12" in diameter, correct??

hogger,

i'm not sure on the displacement question but you should find out on your spec sheet that you got with your subs. or check jlaudio.com. and the other question on cutting a 12" hole DO NOT DO THAT! with your subs you should have also received a round cardboard cut out that is what you should use. i would hate to see your sub fall in or out of it's enclosure because of a inch or half inch to big of a cut.

take your time and you should only have to do it once.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
