i have been looking for a budget setup for my suburban. I am down to 2 options i found locally.
option 1- a used fi 18q in a 10 cu ft box at 35 hz, the only drawback to this sub is its a dual 2 ohm sub. My amp is only 2 ohm stable, so i would have to wire it.to 4 ohms and only feed it with about 350 watts until i can upgrade to a large monoblock.
option 2- 2 boston g2 15's in a sealed box (i will build a ported box and off the prefab box) never used, wouldn't fit in the car. they are 4 ohm single voice coil rated at 300 rms. so i can get my amp to a 2 ohm load and feed these subs around the 600 watts.
