Subwoofer cutting out....

I am having some problems with by sub...

I have a Clarion DXZ615 deck, a Clarion apa-1101 amp (100x1), and 1-Phoenix Gold QX10 (dvc, 4ohm) sub...

I can play by stereo for about 30 seconds and my sub will totally quit. My amp still has the power LED on and the rest of my system still plays, just with no sub.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?? Its driving me crazy...

test the resistance of the sub and the voltage on the amp at the: postive, ground,remote. come back and post the number WITH the amp specs and I can help

i found the problem...my amp is fokked. I used another amp and tested it with my current setup and everthing ran fine...
