Subwoofer Box Pictures

ported can do very well for sq if done right.
true but sealed can always do better than ported if both done right. i know people will argue this but a ported box will never have that tightness and sharpness of a sealed box. think of it as a cave and then yelling in it (it's going to echo and still give some feedback back)

regarding the triangular bracing, other than good bracing are there any sound benefits of it? (considering the box is less square)

BTW what do you guys think of this "Type C" bracing? http://mobile.jlaudio.com/support_pages.php?page_id=166
I haven't really noticed too many people using it
The third brace type would work fine, but implemnting it in the real world proves more difficult than the others. A 'box' brace like that requires a decent amount of work. Some simple rods will do the trick, and are alot easier to incorporate into the box.

Yes but a sealed wont get as low as a ported box, unless you got a pretty **** good woofer.
