The SX and XXX are designed as daily driver subs, as opposed to the MT which is designed for SPL competition burping.

I consider all 3 subs to be very tough.

Well you are comparing two round 12's to three square 15's. I think the outcome is pretty obvious. If you are only interested in sheer output, the three 15's win hands down.

Has nothing to do with sound quality, only how loud it would be.

You could definitely find better sounding subs; but they will sound good enough that majority of people wouldn't have a problem with them. Especially if you listen to rap and/or R&B type music.

Keep in mind though, that is largely box dependent.

What squeak said, its totally dependant on the enclosure and each person's definition of what sounds good. Technically speaking square subs like the L7 are not ideal at SQ (putting it nicely here guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif), but for many people they are perfect. *shrug*
