Subs playing noise when cd player is on even when volume is off

Its a steady noise as if the subs is playing the noise that cd spinning does and when i change the song it plays that too? any idea whats going on

sounds like u have some interference. are ure rcas and power ran together by any chance?

on the same side of the car. its always best to do power wire on one side, and rca's on the other.

It could be, i bought the car and it was already wired..

typically a ground loop interference.

search for it, tehre are stickies on how to fix this problem.

if you have some time on ure hands buy all new wiring and re do the wiring to the sound system. make sure u run opposite sides on power and rca. example rca down passenger side and power down driver side
